I was surprised by:

• The involvement. The great attitudes. The wealth of knowledge available in 24 hours.
• How many intelligent conversations I had with so many people my own age. Not only that it was very nice to have so many leaders in one room. I felt that everyone was on the same level.
• The amount of interactions between group leaders and students and the amount that I learned.
• The variety of subjects that are explored and how approached.
• The focus on our individual goals, desires, dreams.
• How the seasons can be used in agriculture and the career path.
• The relaxed atmosphere, it wasn't a run-around time. The atmosphere was great after a busy few weeks of tests, papers and events.
